TRADE MARK OF THE YEAR
The award ceremony of the contest “The Trade Mark of the Year 2008 Moldova” will take place on the 30th of January 2009 at the 8th National Exhibition “Made in Moldova”. The organizers of the contest are Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova together with the State Agency of Intellectual Property. From 2003 more than 400 enterprises from 14 districts of Moldova, Balti and Chisinau submitted the applications. 160 of them became prize-winners. The main prize – Grand Prize “Golden Mercury” is a very prestigious award.
This year a new nomination appeared in the program known as “A Social Responsive Trade Mark” where winners of national and international brands who promote the ideas of social marketing will be awarded. The rules of presentation of prizes in nomination “Republic’s Heritage” are changed. Now the winner take this award forever but not for only one year as before.
The year 2009 is an anniversary and historical year for Moldova. The 650th anniversary of the foundation of the Moldavian State will be celebrated this year.
