Moldavian project the cartoon FIRST “GYPSY” IN 3D-F0RMAT
Work under the first cartoon in 3D-fbrmat in Moldova goes nip and tuck. This is a jolly story sometimes a little bit philosophic based on the Gypsy legend. The cartoon is called “The Gypsy”. The Exclusiv “Gypsy” you can watch this summer as Dmitri Voloshin says. He is the manager of the company “Simplas” that takes part in pro¬duction of the cartoon and the director of the animated movie.
Our country worked under the pro¬duction of clips and advertisement in 3D- format. Now the cartoon is under its way to audience. The script for the movie was written by a well-known bJogger and writer Sergei Uzun and soundtrack was made by the group “Zdob si Zdub”. The budget of the new Moldavian project is more than 1 million lei.
The team of 12 people works under this animated movie, which has to promote our country Moldova. The members of the team are painters from “Moldova-Film” who was awarded the olive branch at Cannes Movie Festival. They create the story about the Gypsy Gojo who goes with his Gypsy band around Bessarabia and his horse dies along the way, so, he harness himself into hooded cart to carry his family…
