Bottling Prut led to the destruction of about 300 houses in coastal villages and Nemtsen Cotula Morii area Hancesti and Mekeresht Ungheni region.

According to Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin’s press service of the Service of Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Nemtsen 100 houses destroyed and as many more were flooded as a result of breakthrough ladies.
